Afghanistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack in the United States that left 21 people killed and dozens others wounded.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a statement issued on Saturday by the presidential palace says that targeting mosques and holy places and killing worshippers is not only against Islam but also against humanity.
President Ghani has extended his condolences to Saudi king and its people over the brutal killing.
A suicide bomber who had an explosive packed vest attached to his body carried out explosion while Shi’ite Muslims were offering Friday prayers in a local mosque of Qatif province leaving 21 people killed and dozens of others wounded.
Islamic State militant group later by issuing a statement accepted responsibility for the attack.
The group also released a photo claiming to be the suicide bomber who carried out the attack in Al-Qadeeh village, eastern Saudi Arabia.
Saudi’s Interior ministry says that security agencies are looking for those involved in the attack and bring them to justice.
An official from the ministry said “Security authorities will spare no effort in the pursuit of all those involved in this terrorist crime.”
